About this sample pack

I recently scored an SH101 for a fair price in a small town at the German border, it needed some fixes but I got it up and running in full effect in no time. I thought it was a nice idea to program a bunch of drum sounds on it (just like I did on the SH09) that would be suitable for snappy electro. Next to that I also made some snappy fat synth bass hits and effects. The 101 has this crazy fast filter envelope, creamy filter and sick noise oscillator. It's a true electro monster but also a very overused gimmick sounding synth that can give you the cheese or airiness and neurotic funk. I find it to best and monstrous in the lower regions. So apart from all heritage it's a synthesizer that creates a rock solid bass like no other.. For me the proof that analog bass still has something unique in the lower octave regions. Now I do love analog synths for percussion sounds as well, there's something about the instant attack, transients and directness these create. The 101 can generate a proper 909 kick!
